Money Advice

CCHA is supporting the national ‘Your benefits’ campaign which aims to provide advice to anyone who may be affected by the Government’s proposed changes to the benefits system.

The first stage of the campaign concentrates on providing help and advice to anyone who gets housing benefit and has non-dependents living with them and anyone who will be affected by changes to incapacity benefit.

Free advice surgeries

Do you have any questions about your home or tenancy or do you need money advice?

If so, CCHA have lots of free services available including:

• Benefits advice
• Moving in and resettlement 
• Court action and rent arrears
• Advice and help about available loans and grants 
• Moving options
• Debt and budgeting
• Utilities issues (electricity, gas, water)
• Help and support with anti-social behaviour issues
• Or any other tenancy matter

We also offer the following surgeries at our Meteor Street office:

Cardiff Move-On
For help and advice about all tenancy issues

Drop-in surgery held every Tuesday morning between 10am-12pm

Housing Benefit
Come and see an officer from the Council about your Housing Benefit claim

Every Wednesday:  9:00am – 12:45pm by appointment
                              1:45pm – 4:30pm – just drop-in

Cardiff Credit Union
For information about the Credit Union and to become a member

Drop-in surgery every Thursday between 10am – 11am
