Our Aims for Tenant Involvement

We are always looking for ways to improve our services and are very interested in tenants’ views. We aim to fully involve tenants in developing our housing services and in strengthening local communities.

To achieve this we:

• Provide tenants with regular, up to date, relevant information about the Association’s policies, performance and activities
• Provide all tenants with the individual opportunity to exercise their Right to Consultation in relation to management and maintenance matters
• Encourage tenant participation by supporting the development of representative tenants’ associations, and other forms of participation
• Through negotiation with tenants, establish and implement tenant participation compacts to enable a tenant-led, representative structure to be involved in decisions.
• Encourage tenants to participate in CCHA as shareholders
• Support tenant Board members in thier important and challenging role
  Obtain tenants’ views at appropriate intervals on the Association’s performance and their expectations for future performance
• Ensure that CCHA – Board members and staff - are committed to the aims, and have adequate resources, knowledge and skills to achieve specific objectives
