Financial Support
CCHA funds recognised tenants’ associations to cover their basic running costs (meetings, communication, etc.). The current rate for an annual grant is £50 plus £2 per member household. The costs of other tenants’ organisations are paid directly by us. Travel expenses are paid for the individual tenants involved in the Tenant Representative Council and focus groups.
We can also help your group to get other grant funding from organisations such as the Welsh Assembly Government.

Training
An annual budget for training is provided by CCHA to support tenants and tenant involvement. It covers the cost of attendance at TPAS and other conferences, plus specific training provided to meet agreed needs and volunteers' requests.
Tenants' Resource Centre
The Community and Tenants Resource Centre. is close to our offices at Callaghan House, Moira Terrace, Adamsdown. The Centre was funded by CCHA, the Welsh Assembly Government and the Scarman Trust.
For many tenants’ groups finding a place to meet or an office to work is a major problem. The Centre is available for community groups based in the Adamsdown area and all CCHA tenant groups (wherever they are based). It brings high quality office and meeting facilities right to the doorstep of our tenants. It is equipped with computers, printers, telephones and all the necessary office furniture. The computers are all linked to the Internet. We hope that the Centre will help our groups to flourish and grow.
For further information about our support of tenants’ organisations please contact our Customer Involvement Officer through the Contacts page of this website.
