Cardiff Community Housing Association (CCHA) has appointed experienced social housing finance professional, Naveeda Morgan, as its new Head of Finance.

CCHA’s Corporate Director, Central Services, Brian Pickett said: “I am delighted to welcome Naveeda to CCHA as its Head of Finance. CCHA was upgraded and returned to the highest regulatory rating in March and Naveeda, with her depth of finance knowledge, particularly in the social housing sector, will now be key in driving further improvements in our financial governance.   She will play a key role in providing a first class service across the business to fulfil our ambitious corporate strategy.

“It’s clear that Naveeda shares CCHA’s community-based values and vision and she will be a tremendous addition to the team as we deal with the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic.”

Naveeda said of her new role: “I am so pleased to have the opportunity to play a key role at an organisation which is deeply rooted in the communities it serves; the community where I was born and have lived all my life.  I am very much looking forward to being part of the CCHA team and to utilise my skills, experience and knowledge to benefit the organisation”.
