The safety of CCHA’s tenants, staff and contractors is more important than ever during this time.
In line with Welsh Government guidelines, during the lockdown, CCHA’s Maintenance Team (MTeam), together with our contractors, have continued to carry out emergency and urgent repairs, and the compliance safety checks needed to keep you safe.
From Wednesday 17th June we will begin to record all repairs you report to us. Please contact us if you need to report a routine repair, as well as an emergency or urgent repair.
The latest Welsh Government advice however only allows us to carry out some non-essential external repairs and external planned works in addition to our urgent and emergency repairs.
This means, we will begin carrying out repair work on the outside of our properties (gardens and external areas) and in common areas.
We will not be able to undertake all routine non-essential repairs that you report to us at this time. This is because many materials and building suppliers are still closed or have low stocks, and is also based on current Welsh Government guidance.
This means that routine repairs you report to us will remain on hold until it is safe to carry these out.
To help us complete your repairs safely, when reporting or arranging works please let us know if anyone in your home is shielding/self isolating, or has any symptoms associated with Covid 19 (Coronavirus) (a high temperature, a new continuous cough, a loss of taste or smell)
