What is the Co-Design Group?

The Co-Design Group was created to ensure tenants are genuinely at the heart of our organisation. CCHA’s aim was to ensure, going forward, we include tenants in decisions that are being made. The Co-Design Group was made up of tenants, staff and Board members who all came together for a full review of CCHA’s tenant and leaseholder engagement. Their aim was to analyse how tenants feed into the organisation and in future, how tenants can influence business decisions.

Can’t make the meeting but still want to share your thoughts about the potential new strategy? Take a look at the attached report, complete the feedback form and email it back.

All feedback we receive will be looked at and will have impact on the final outcome.

Why did we form the Co-Design Group?

  • Regulation, ensuring tenants really are at the heart of the organisation
  • Ensure tenants feel they receive value for money
  • Health & Safety, ensuing tenants feel safe and secure
  • Allowing tenants to influence business decisions made at Board level
  • Governance, keeping CCHA on track to agree and deliver priorities
  • New Team- New Start – New opportunity

The Co-Design Group met on five occasions giving their input on current tenant engagement in different service areas such as governance, services, IT, support and community. Together they produced a list of recommendations about how to ensure tenants voices are heard going forward with a new senior team in post, feeding into the new strategy. The group have created a short presentation with their findings, coming to an agreement as staff, tenants and Board, about how we can make this happen.

Going forward, CCHA want to ensure the Board receive the right information at the right time and on the right subjects about tenant and leaseholder’s experiences of our services.

Please get in contact with Jess if you’d like to come along and require transport on 02920 468495.
