Cardiff Community Housing Association (CCHA) has appointed experienced social housing professional, Liz Evans, as its new Corporate Director of People and Places.

CCHA’s Chief Executive, Hayley Selway, said: “I am delighted that we were able to attract Liz to join us at such an exciting time in the growth of our services, having recently returned to Welsh Government’s highest regulatory standard.

“Liz joins us from the post she has held for eight years at Bron Afon Community Housing, where, as Head of Community Housing and Customer Services, she was responsible for providing leadership, change management and strategic direction covering a full range of housing related services and community engagement and development.  It’s clear that Liz shares CCHA’s community-based values and vision and she will be a tremendous addition to the team as we deal with the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic.”

Ms Evans said of her new role: “I’m so thrilled to be joining the team at CCHA. It’s an exciting time to join the organisation and I’m looking forward playing my part in leading the team to build on the great progress they’ve made over the last year, to achieve the vision of being an amazing landlord.  I can’t wait to get started, to work with staff and tenants to support the local community.
