Cardiff Community Housing Association (CCHA) has appointed experienced social housing professional Andrew Bradley, as its new Head of Asset Management and Decarbonisation.

CCHA’s Director of Assets and Property, Jonathan Jones, said: “I am delighted by Andrew’s appointment.  Since joining CCHA in November 2019 as Assets & Landlord Compliance Manager, Andrew has made a tremendous contribution to the association, successfully leading the Compliance Team through several Landlord Compliance internal audits, all receiving substantial assurance grading’s. Andrew will lead CCHA’s Asset Management Functions including CCHA’s decarbonisation projects, which will see our homes becoming more energy efficient and sustainable.

“It’s clear that Andrew shares CCHA’s community-based values and visions, he continues to have a great contribution to the team as we continue to deal with the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic.”

Andrew said of his new role: “I am so pleased to be appointed to the role of Head of Asset Management and Decarbonisation.  The need to deliver sustainable green initiatives to tenants and the community is more pressing than ever.  These measures will not only help tenants and the environment by reducing the amount of carbon produced in powering and heating homes but will also be instrumental in helping to reduce fuel poverty and develop skills and opportunities in Wales ”.
